Dr. Jen Riegle, ND and Jenny Harrow, MA of Integrative Healers Action Network (IHAN) are excited to announce that IHAN is the recipient of a grant from the American Red Cross to continue operations in 2019. The grant funding allows IHAN to continue to build our capacity to serve those displaced by natural disasters, as well as respond to disasters that may take place in 2019 in California. IHAN is an organization that operates to organize a pathway by which practitioners of integrative modalities may volunteer their time during disasters to deliver safe and effective care to those most in need. It is our goal to continue to build bridges between medicines and organizations, and collaborate with similar interests in disaster relief.
Our organization emerged from the 2017 Santa Rosa fires, where we were involved in organizing practitioners to provide care in Red Cross shelters, Armories, Health Clinics, and County Worker Offices. At IHAN, we provide the structure and resources needed to provide safe, sustainable, and effective community care through integrative healing modalities including but not limited to: naturopathic medicine, chiropractic, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, health coaching, and herbal medicine. If you are a practitioner in California who would like to be involved in our network, please contact us through our website, integrativehealersactionnetwork.org. We are excited to continue collaborations with many exceptional practitioners and organizations throughout California in 2019!
