A clinically guided integrative detoxification program designed for firefighters exposed to wildfire smoke, chemicals, and chronic occupational stress. Developed with environmental medicine experts and delivered in partnership with the Volunteer Fire Foundation.

Integrative Wellness Clinics
Free acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, bodywork, stress reduction, and nervous-system support. We operate these clinics after major incidents and throughout the year in both Los Angeles and Sonoma County, depending on community need. You can learn more about our recent work offering ten months of clinics following the Eaton and Palisades Fires in the LA area here.
Environmental Health & Wildfire Exposure Training
On June 13, 2025, IHAN and the Volunteer Fire Foundation (VFF) hosted a specialized training at the Pasadena Fire Academy focused on the unique health impacts firefighters face after wildfire response. The session features an introduction by IHAN Medical Director Dr. Jen Riegle and a presentation by IHAN Director of Clinical Research Dr. Chris Holder.
This training provides a clear overview of environmental health and medicine, the types of toxic exposures firefighters may encounter, and integrative strategies — including detoxification support — that have been successfully applied within IHAN’s 12-Week Firefighter Detox Program.
