On June 13, 2025, Integrative Healers Action Network (IHAN) and Volunteer Fire Foundation (VFF) hosted a special training at the Pasadena Fire Academy to address the unique health impacts faced by firefighters after wildfire response. The session begins with an introduction by IHAN Medical Director Dr. Jen Riegle and a presentation by IHAN Director of Clinical Research Dr. Chris Holder.
This training provides an overview of environmental health and medicine, the toxic exposures firefighters may face, and integrative strategies — including detoxification support — that have been applied within IHAN’s 12-week Firefighter Detox Program.
