​• Licensed Naturopathic Doctors (NDs)

• Licensed integrative and functional medicine clinicians within scope to perform IV therapy

• Clinicians serving firefighters, first responders, or high-exposure populations who hold appropriate licensure and IV certification

Why firefighter health requires a specialized approach

Firefighters are a highly exposed occupational population. This training focuses on the real-world clinical considerations needed to assess and treat toxic exposure impacts with appropriate context, cultural competency, and clinical rigor.

Training Content Overview

  • Firefighters as a Unique Clinical Population

  • Toxin Exposure & Health Impacts in Firefighting (PFAS, PAHs, VOCs, heavy metals, combustion byproducts)

  • Clinical Assessment, Testing & Treatment Strategies

  • Treatment Models for Detoxification & Recovery (group vs individual, safety, expected responses, early data)

Training structure: From Didactic to Direct Clinical Care

  • 4-hour didactic foundation covering exposure patterns, assessment, testing, and treatment

  • 3-hour supervised applied clinical training with direct experience providing care to participating local firefighters using detoxification protocols

Digital attendees participate in the 4-hour didactic training and are not eligible for the hands-on clinical component.
All clinical activities are supervised and conducted with appropriate consent and safety protocols.

What’s the schedule for the day? 
• 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Didactic clinical training
• 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: Lunch (included)
• 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Applied clinical training with supervised treatment of firefighters
