Firefighters are a highly exposed occupational population. This training focuses on the real-world clinical considerations needed to assess and treat toxic exposure impacts with appropriate context, cultural competency, and clinical rigor.

Training Content Overview

Training structure: From Didactic to Direct Clinical Care
- 4-hour didactic foundation covering exposure patterns, assessment, testing, and treatment
- 3-hour supervised applied clinical training with direct experience providing care to participating local firefighters using detoxification protocols
Digital attendees participate in the 4-hour didactic training and are not eligible for the hands-on clinical component.
All clinical activities are supervised and conducted with appropriate consent and safety protocols.
